BILL CALLAHAN 'Apocalypse' Vinyl LP (2011 Indie)

Year of release: 2011

Recorded in Austin with a small, live-sounding band, this finds Bill Callahan pondering America, cattle drives and songwriting itself in his deep, deadpan baritone. 'Drover' and 'America!' gallop with dusty, slow-building intensity.
