BLACK KEYS 'Thickfreakness' Vinyl LP

Year of release: 2003

A single fourteen-hour session in Patrick Carney's basement produced this: two guys, a drum kit and a fuzzed-up guitar making a glorious racket. Dan Auerbach's soulful growl turns Junior Kimbrough's 'Everywhere I Go' and their own 'Hard Row' into sweaty, stomping blues.
