BOWERY ELECTRIC 'Beat' Remastered Vinyl 2LP (1996 Shoegaze/Trip Hop)

Year of release: 1996

The New York duo's second album moved from shoegaze drones toward slow, looping breakbeats, a bridge between Spacemen 3 and Portishead. Hazy guitars, whispered vocals and dub-heavy bass make it a woozy favourite of trip-hop diggers.
