BURNING SPEAR 'Man In The Hills' Vinyl LP (1976 Reggae)

Year of release: 1976

The follow-up to Marcus Garvey finds Burning Spear looking back to his rural roots in Saint Ann, Jamaica, the same parish as Bob Marley. His chant-like vocals float over deep, rootsy rhythms on the title track, meditative and proud.
