CHET BAKER 'Baker's Holiday' Verve Acoustic Sounds 180g Vinyl LP
Year of release: 1965
Chet paid tribute to Billie Holiday on this album, singing her songs over a backing of flutes and saxophones. His plaintive voice and trumpet turn 'Easy Living' and 'That Ole Devil Called Love' into late-night confessions.
