CURTIS MAYFIELD 'Super Fly' Soundtrack 50th Anniversary Vinyl 2LP + Slipmat + Poster

Year of release: 1972

Curtis Mayfield's soundtrack actually out-earned the film, and his lyrics quietly undercut its glamorous view of drug dealing. 'Pusherman', 'Freddie's Dead' and the title track ride wah-wah guitar, congas and swirling strings into soul history.

Original album lacquers cut directly from the master analog tape source. Features deluxe tip-on style packaging, never-before-seen photos, new liner notes, a fold out movie poster. Individually foil-stamped numbered. Includes a four page booklet, poster & turntable mat.
