IAN DURY & THE BLOCKHEADS 'Do It Yourself' LIME Vinyl LP (1979 New Wave)

Year of release: 1979

Barney Bubbles designed the sleeve, issued in dozens of different wallpaper patterns, and the Blockheads' tight funk and jazz playing gives Ian Dury's witty lyrics a spring in their step. 'Inbetweenies' and 'This Is What We Find' show off his sharp, sympathetic eye for ordinary lives.
