MADVILLAIN 'Madvillainy' 20th Anniversary Audiophile Vinyl 2LP (2004 Hip Hop)

Year of release: 2004

An unfinished demo was stolen and leaked 14 months early, so a frustrated MF DOOM and Madlib shelved the project for other work. Returning with a mellower, more confident delivery, the masked rapper drifts sly, tangled rhymes over dusty loops dug from obscure jazz, soul, Indian and Brazilian records.
