'OMEN' Soundtrack (Jerry Goldsmith) BLOOD RED/BLACK SPLATTER Vinyl LP (1976)

Year of release: 1976

This is the score that finally won Jerry Goldsmith his Oscar, after many nominations. 'Ave Satani' turns a Latin mass inside out into a chant to the devil, sung by a full choir over pounding drums, and it's still the sound of evil itself.
