'PHENOMENA' Soundtrack (Goblin) CLEAR PURPLE Vinyl LP (1985)

Dario Argento's tale of a teenage Jennifer Connelly who can talk to insects mixed heavy metal from Iron Maiden and Motörhead with music by two members of Goblin, Claudio Simonetti and Fabio Pignatelli. Simonetti's swirling title theme, sung by soprano Pina Magri, is lush and dreamlike, while the rest turns pounding and paranoid.
