'REQUIEM FOR A DREAM' Soundtrack (Clint Mansell/Kronos Quartet) Vinyl 2LP (2000)

Year of release: 2000

Few pieces of film music have been borrowed as often as 'Lux Aeterna', played here by the Kronos Quartet and reworked for countless trailers, including The Two Towers. Clint Mansell's full score tightens like a vice through Darren Aronofsky's addiction drama, string quartet and electronic beats spiralling faster as the characters fall.
