SARAH DAVACHI 'Pale Bloom' Vinyl LP (2019 Drone)

Year of release: 2019

Built around piano, the first instrument Sarah Davachi learned as a child, it pairs spidery melodies with the 21-minute drone of 'Drapery'. Long, slowly shifting tones invite patient, close listening in a quiet, dim room.
