CHARLIE MINGUS 'The Clown' Analogue Productions 45rpm 180g Vinyl 2LP

Year of release: 1957

On the title track, radio humorist Jean Shepherd improvises the story of a clown whose life turns tragic, over Mingus's shifting, circus-like music. 'Haitian Fight Song' opens with a thunderous bass solo and builds into a furious, gospel-driven storm.
