JOHN COLTRANE & KENNY BURRELL s/t 180g YELLOW Vinyl LP
Year of release: 1963
Cut in 1958 but held back until 1963, this pairs Coltrane's searching tenor with Kenny Burrell's clean, bluesy guitar. Their duet on 'Why Was I Born?' is a gentle, intimate ballad, just the two of them.
