Taylor Swift
Nobody has won the Grammy for Album of the Year more often than Taylor Swift, and she did it by changing styles every few years, from the country of Fearless to the gleaming synth-pop of 1989.
Signed as a songwriter in Nashville at 14, she built her career on sharply detailed, diary-like songs. Folklore, made in lockdown with the National's Aaron Dessner and Jack Antonoff, turned hushed and indie, and when her early masters were sold she re-recorded them as 'Taylor's Version'.
The Eras Tour became the highest-grossing tour in history, and in 2025 she bought back her first six albums and released The Life of a Showgirl.
