AUTECHRE 'Amber' Vinyl 2LP

Year of release: 1994

The cover shows the strange rock chimneys of Cappadocia in Turkey, and the music inside feels just as otherworldly. Sean Booth and Rob Brown's second album trades hard beats for slow, glowing melodies and soft, warped textures, ambient techno at its most beautiful.
