FLYING LOTUS 'Los Angeles' Vinyl 2LP
Year of release: 2008
His first album for Warp turns his home city into a wonky, crackling beat tape, with J Dilla's woozy influence everywhere. 'Parisian Goldfish' bounces along on squelching bass, while the later tracks sink into hazy, half-remembered loops.
