KINKS 'Face To Face' 180g Vinyl LP

Year of release: 1966

Ray Davies' sharp eye for English characters came into focus here, with the lazy, sardonic 'Sunny Afternoon' a UK number one. Sound effects of rain and telephones link some songs, and 'Dandy' and 'Session Man' are wry little portraits.
