NINA SIMONE 'Best Studio & Live Recordings' 180g COLOUR Vinyl 2LP

Year of release: 2017

One record of studio sides and one of concerts, this pairs 'My Baby Just Cares for Me' and 'Little Girl Blue' with live takes from Town Hall in 1959 and Berkeley in 1969. On stage her voice grows fiercer, and 'Mississippi Goddam' crackles with anger.
