'NUOVO CINEMA PARADISO' Soundtrack (Ennio Morricone) Vinyl LP (1988)

Year of release: 1988

The famous love theme was written by Ennio Morricone's son Andrea, and it's a tearjerker all on its own. Giuseppe Tornatore's film about a boy and the projectionist of a Sicilian village cinema gets a score of bittersweet strings, lilting melodies and deep nostalgia.
